Free-diving has been a tradition in the Mayol family and the sport has grown immensely since the release of “The Big Blue” and “Ocean Men”. Apnéa allows man to feel in total oneness with the liquid environment and with him self. It is also a great way to stay in shape and one of the best ways to build total confidence in ones own mental and physical abilities under water and above.
Jean-Jacques believes that “in” Apnea and through Yoga man has a chance to re-discover him self, to develop the potential of his aquatic origins and to re-awake his dormant mental and spiritual faculties. The reason for someone to take this course is NOT about performing or becoming ”Sea Gladiators” says Jean-Jacques’s, but more what he calls a “Homo-Delphinus” experience, something that may inspire to a little more mature thinking and lead to a boarder cause. It is for the individual, who not only wants to understand and learn the philosophy and techniques of free-diving. |
