During the summer holidays, all families expect to experience magical moments as well as more private times, so they can make up for the time lost during the daily routine that never seems to come back.
When work commitments disappear, the school is still far off, hot days and the desire to spend time together make the idea of a family holiday a sort of adventure, an idea that makes the kids hop for joy and keeps them awake in anticipation of the departure.

For teenagers aged 13-17, things are even more exciting: canoeing, tennis, archery and football or volleyball tournaments... much better than a playground!
Fun is guaranteed due to the open air, the company of other children and adolescents and the presence of professional grown-ups.
For children under 4 years of age there are dedicated spaces in addition to the swimming pool with soft bottom and toys to ensure their safety.

The Ottone beach, right in front of the camping village (reachable by a short walk) is perfect for the entire family. Its peculiar position and the fact that there are no parking lots means that it is never too crowded and that the bar and the services it offers - rental of sun loungers, pedal boats, diving - are frequented for the most part by our guests.
Here the beach is made of sand and pebbles, the sea bottom gently slopes and the hill behind you will keep you sheltered from the winds of the island; all this, and as a garnish, a magnificent view of Portoferraio and its many attractions.
The Biodola beach is situated just outside Portoferraio, only 13 km from the campsite.
Here the sand is fine, children can play without rubber shoes, the seabed slopes gently, and it feels like taking a dip in the pool given the warmness of the turquoise waters.

The activities for children and teenagers on the Island of Elba are countless: we have already talked about the possibility of diving courses for children with Blu Elba Diving and in addition to the activities and tournaments organized by our animation team there are lots of things to do and secrets to discover outside Rosselba, together with mom and dad, if they want to explore the island and see as many things as possible!
A great adventure for everyone is undoubtedly the cable car to climb to the top of Mount Capanne: the climb that lasts about 20 minutes, within an open carrier - but it is very safe! - this ride will offer you splendid views and some thrills.
If you love trekking and hiking, you can go back down on foot along a marked path. However, be careful: the path is very steep and, therefore, recommended only for children accustomed to trekking or when carrying small children in a backpack of one of the parents.

Being an island, the sea is the star on Elba, a visit to the Elba aquarium should not be missed: more than 150 species of fish and other inhabitants of the sea, all "recruited" in an ethical way, being rescued from the scraps of professional fishing.
